SHOES vs BOOTS - What do you wear?

Rockports, lased but wear'm like slip ons. I carry steel toes but have yet to use them.

 

I have steel toe work shoes that look like tennis shoes and slip resistant, got them cheap at walmart for $35 and I got what I paid for, 3 months and the soles are almost worn down and they are not comfortable, going home tomorrow for home time and going to get my DC's since those are very comfortable, I will look for a decent pair of work shoes for rain and stuff later or I could dig out some of my pairs of kitchen shoes I wore as an executive chef, those are slip resistant everything.

I wear my 1984 tough skins and cut them off to make shorts in the summer time.After a few washes they have the ''frzzle Dizzle Affect'' and hanging all around.I then put my ''knee'' high wide striped 1973 Oakland Raider Football Socks on with my Dollar Genral pair of ''Flip Flops''...

I then slip into my 1982 ZZ-TOP world tour concert tee shirt that has shrunk and is right above my belly.I let my belly hang out below my waist with hair all over it so the girls can look my way.


I then put my 1987 valcro zip Houston Astros hat on with fish hooks in it.I then walk across the TA truck stop shaking my ''Booty'' for all the Ladies..Last but not least i slip into my finger less leather gloves and all the Ladies begin to call me ''Big Daddy''....

 

Red Wing boots most of the time. If its warm enough for shorts I wear Brooks tennis shoes.

I wear Crocks into the truck stop if in going to shower. I would rather walk through hot coals with broken glass then let my bare feet touch a truck stop shower floor.

Red Wings, if you really need boots or steel toed boots. You also stomp around with more authority than those sissy truckers in flip flops. I usually wear New Balance or Propet slip ons while driving, and doing normal walking around truck stop and shipping/rcving stuff.
