    I had that happen last week at ~50 mph. We were losing the hammer (going from 3 to 2) and Mr. Dumas decided he had to be in front of me. I missed him but I think he tagged a cone. Dash cam got it all.

    I'm sure it does, not to me though. Not that close.

    How anyone can let themselves get that distracted in stop/go/stop/go/stop situations is beyond me. It wasn't an unexpected slow down.

    I had 4 drivers do something similar to me on Friday. Unfortunately, I was able to take safe evasive actions to avoid all of them. You can be sure that if I couldn't have avoided them safely, one of them would have been crunched.

    But then the car is sitting down low and doesn't have the view from above. The truck should be slowing down, expecting the cars to jump out of the left lane.
