The drop pay is too low as is mileage rate but if you can live with it depending on your location might be a good place to work while looking for a jobTb0n3 and joseph1853 Thank this.

Sure. Ask for more money. Bosses LOVE a good laugh.
Don't let the door sexually harass you on the way out.joseph1853 Thanks this. -
What do you think would be reasonable pay?

I'm in Canada so I really am not familiar with rates however $7.50 a drop is too low on any planet.. What is most important is quality of life. Going home every day. Weigh that with making more money and living in a upholstered tin coffin. Crunch the # and OTR is a waste of time based on hours. I also raised a couple kids by being home everyday who both have stellar careers far removed from trucking. There is more to life than making a living. Call me anything but late for dinner

I bet you are making your boss a pile of money.

Worst they can say is "you'll never work in this industry again," but highly unlikely. If you get fired for asking for a raise you should have left earlier.
