Yeah... only thing that would concern me with the mx is the lack of longevity and techs. I may be wrong but the mx motor has only been around since what 2012 or so. So these motors haven’t even seen a million yet, hardly. Then it’s like having a Volvo motor, it isolates the owner to dealer specific shops who are (barely learning the ropes on it themselves)... at least with Cummins you get Cummins quickserve with service literature, part number searches and etc... which really wouldn’t matter for you until after the warranty is up
Should I buy a new Kenworth???

A friend of mine has a '17 model KW. Crazy nice truck no doubts about that, drives like a BMW but what little issues he has had the dealer service made them harder than they should have been.
Oxbow, 4mer trucker, SAR and 3 others Thank this. -
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.

I'd buy it, but I would rather have a Detroit. Have had better luck with those. Cummins don't pull at all, especially heavy, in my experience. -
My humble opinion.....you've learned alot with Casper. Stick with what ya know. Especially since what ya know hasn't seemed to do you wrong.
Sirscrapntruckalot, fargonaz, Truckermania and 2 others Thank this. -
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.

No interest in a hood? Easier to sell if you're gonna drive it until you don't want to or it won't go anymore.
G13Tomcat and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
The inside has leather, which is fine, but I know the cats would go to town on that.
Cloth, you take a lighter and burn the fray away, like it's never there.
Leather, leather there's just holes and your stuck with them.
But I do treat Casper with kid gloves. Always treated everything that way though.MrEd and Truckermania Thank this. -
G13Tomcat Thanks this.
