I finished school at National tractor trailer school and got my Class A in July 2021.
Unfortunately, I lost my sister and grandfather. It took a huge toll on me depression wise, and I never got a job after school, by the time I was ready I had a few medical issues and needed a few lung surgeries, now almost 2 years later, I'm cleared to work, by my doctor and my DOT physical, and am ready to work. After all this time of having no job at all let alone in the trucking industry,
Is it even possible to get a job in a truck?
If so what should be my next step?

I do have 1 minor parking accident (no injuries, no pay out) and 1 ticket for running a stop sign on my record in my own personal vehicle. Thank you in advance for any advice you can give me.

How long ago did you run the stop sign?
    Where are you located?
Do you still have a CDL?

I would submit...in truth....your biggest problem (by far) is that ticket for running a stop sign.

FYI: I got my CDL in April of 2017.

I started driving for Schneider in March of 2019.

    Short answer: yes, it's doable.

But I had a clean MVR at that time (and still do)--and no criminal history (and still do).

The stop sign ticket is from October 2020. I am located in Buffalo, NY. And yes my CDL Class A and DOT physical are both still valid, I have Tanker & Doubles/Triples. I also have my license enhanced so I can travel to Canada if needed.

Criminal history wise I do have a Class A Misdemeanor on my record, however it was from quite some time ago, I believe at least 5 years.

I think Chinatown can find you some carriers that will still accept you.

My suggestion: while you're waiting for the 3rd anniversary of the stop sign ticket--go back and GET THAT HAZMAT ENDORSEMENT.
