All jokes aside. I'm new to this forum.
I read through several threads before deciding to create an account.
Long story short, I'm a new driver with about 9 months of road experience driving a flatbed.
My first wreck, which I dreaded, has unfortunately occurred.
Back in January, I was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign, which resulted in a non-fatal collision with another truck driver and my termination.
So I've finally decided to start looking for jobs, and as you can imagine, it hasn't been a pleasant experience.
TransAm is the only company that has taken me into consideration.
The goal of this post is to gather information and advice on how I should proceed moving forward on my search for a second opportunity.
So, if any of you know of any companies that would be willing to work with someone with my background, please let me know.
I am currently residing in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
I don't care whether it's regional, otr, or local.

Who all have you applied to so far? It's going to be difficult for you to find some work because you have an accident, and a moving violation on your license. That's a double whammy. Maybe @Chinatown has some suggestions for you. You may have to roll with a 1099 company to get some experience and to clean your record up.

- DWI Convictions: Must be 5 years ago
- Moving Violations: Only 3 last 3 years
