Should I make a switch with jobs

I’m pretty sure in Chicago and those guys are union

 

I got a buddy that works for them and I just called him They’re not union.

 

Estes is definitely not union. It’s still a really good job from what I have been told.

If you can get with a good union job, that’s the way to go. I did it. I got a great pension from them and made really good money. That’s when trucking was trucking ha ha ha. It took a long time, but I got to be number one in seniority. I was the king ha ha ha.

 

How many years have you been there, where are you on the board, how many people are on the board and how many years of seniority does the top 20-50 drivers have. If you are at the bottom a move to freight would be easier. If you are about to start seeing better and better work in the next few years it may be worth staying put.

 

also, if he stays there, I think five years your vested you have something coming in. I have 25 years with 705 out of Chicago. They are the best number one!!!

 

I guess it comes down to a personal decision, but $70,000 after one year for a 4 day work week isn’t terrible. Estes is from what I have been told $100,000+ but you won’t do that in 4 days.
