    Hubcap hit on a lot of the myths that exists in the industry and gave you good advice. For a new driver it is very frstrating with fair equipment and low pay (unless you have an Uncle Louie that can get you in a good company somewhere). Riding with an OTR trucker every now and then is like going to the State Fair, fun to visit, but being there every day is a different story.

    Thank You ALL for the information. I am taking it all in. After reading everyone's post, I have just about decided to stay where I am. But, it is still 'NOT FUN" at work any more. Again, THANK YOU !

    I would not advise anyone to leave a paying job to go trucking right now,....
