should i quit werner during training?

    You hit another truck and there are minor consequences. That should be expected.

    What has happened to make you say it's a horrible place though?

    @truckercane, you are not going to want to hear this, but you asked:

    Are you planning to jump ship every time you screw up? I would have to prove that I could make the grade at Weiner. I couldn't have Weiner on my resume and still need to ride in a trainer truck. It has Weiner Reject all over it. If 'they are horrible' and yet I couldn't make it through training...that would bother me.

    cr england made a rap video for their drivers. This shows that CR England drivers are bad ### rebels who dont take crap from anyone. And every western express driver i have ever seen look like rebels in their own right. Look the OP is not going to just follow stupid rules by a company just because he happens to work their. Nobody tells him what to do. He should work at a company that respects his outlaw individualistic spirit. As far as im concerned i gave him the proper prescription. He will fit at one of those two companies just fine. Ill take it a step further, he belongs there.

    I didn't get outlaw supertrucker wannabe in his thread but a guy that felt he shouldn't have gotten blamed for what he did.Hes new and hes learning companies aren't going to put up with it without consequences to follow.

    Some companies have a policy that an incident during training will not be put on your DAC if you stay with them for so long or pay for the damage yourself. I would never have gone to work for Werner because when I applied right out of school they did not offer me a job. I think it had to do with me being a felon. Who knows.

    That being said, lots of us have had bumps along our way. My three days at Transport America ended because I was following directions from the trainer and put a scuff on his truck. The scuff buffed out but he was so angry.

    It comes down to are you happy there. A trucking company is a trucking company. They all pay newbies about the same. Myself, I would complete your training before you move on. The backing thing will not keep you from your next job. Not having completed six months will.

    there are companies where common sense isnt required. He should work at those companies.

    All drivers at werner should quit,and swift,and kinght,and CRE,and,and,and,,,,,,and then when the pay doubles ya'll go back,,,Power in numbers..

    Works good where I'm at..We strike if we dont get what we want.Do you still pay heath insurance? yea,your doing something wrong,if you & your co-workers cant get the company to pay it 100%
