No shortage of trucks around Poland Springs facilities. Perhaps you'd be interested in driving for one of those outfits. Or maybe even be a yard dog.
Be sure to avoid that driver-hatin' Western Express, though. They even hate their mechanics, too. Yep. It's just a black and white hate factory.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
My advice...live where you are happy and comfortable. Then look for jobs. If Maine is your home and you like it, stay there and make it work. Take it from a guy who has lived all over the country, "The Grass is not always greener on the other side".

Does it suck to work for Crete/Shaffer? I see them everywhere. You would think their drivers would be bankingRideandrepair Thanks this.

Not sure about making bank, but the drivers I have talked to are generally satisfied.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Ok we can roll with that....they seem to stay busy. I saw a couple Crete trucks running around in Portland the other day. Of course that ain't deep into Maine though. I picked up a load at RC Moore and they were looking for drivers to run back and forth from PA to ME. Had an ad posted. I will say leaving Maine will broaden your options majorly.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Poland spring declined my last app I sent. R c Moore I tried to get into their local tanker months ago. I kind of failed to shift their 10sp kw. One thing I have learned I can shift a Freightliner kind of easy but anything else I have a problem with. I have no idea why. I have driven freightliner auto and 10sp, international 10sp, kw auto and 10sp.Rideandrepair Thanks this.
