Should I specialize

    My ex boss refuses to hire anyone that attempts to double clutch also, when he still had a manual fleet.

    Anyone that needs to "double clutch," has NO idea how these Eaton Fullers work, and I would NOT employ them.

    I personally float. But I think all of these cdl schools teach them that you have to double clutch.

    Apparently you have to do it for testing purposes.

    I've never understood that; why would a DMV officer care one way or the other if you double clutch or float?

    You want to be competent in as many facets of Trucking as possible.

    Be able to go anywhere and do any kind of trucking with some modicum of professionalism.
