Thanks! I have mixed emotions right now. I just (10 minutes ago) resigned from the job I thought I would retire from. Now I'm anxious to start the new job I plan to retire from.
Should I take the job?

Yea it’s hard leaving a job you worked at for awhile. Give it a couple months and you won’t even think about WM. Hopefully your the number 1 of the 4 they are hiring.
Just because you have a short run doesn’t mean it will end up like that daily. When I hired on I was covering for a guy that was off sick on a 320 mile run with 3 hours on the dock. When he came back I went to my bid run which is 124 miles plus dock. But they via me all over. Most of the time I made more then the longer mile run I was on. It always worked out I would get a 350 mile via on Monday’s and Friday’s too lol.
Keep us updated.Chuckman73 Thanks this. -
I appreciate the input. I will try to keep this updated as things progress.

How is the dock work? I hear everyone talk about how bad it is. Can anyone give me some insight. In tje hirimg process now.
TM told my buddy we could do dock work for next 10 to 15 years depending on bids. -
Dock work isn’t bad. Some terminals are worse then others and depending how busy they are. You don’t mess around and load properly no one will give you trouble.
A lot of bids out of where I’m at that require dock work is 3 or less hours. IMO it’s easy money besides when it’s -20 out. -
How are you doing? I had my medical and filled in paperwork on weds and now just waiting for a call with a start date hopefully.
