    Eh, the atlas will have most acceptable routes highlighted. Jill is usually good these days on local routes, and Google Maps satellite gives you a feel for it.

    I use Google Earth to look up address, find the truck gate, take the coordinates and input into my Rand McNally, set for fastest route and off I go. Jill will take you thru every cow path, goat path and back alley to save a mile.

    After spending the week in a truck with the trainer I decided that I would step out on Jill and went with Samantha instead (Rand McNally 730). I will still use Jill for the final five miles and to compare to Samantha during the trip planning.
