I filled out an app not long ago that asked if I had more than 3 jobs in the last 2 years... some companies refuse to hire job hoppers. Do your time and then get a real job.
Should I wait until a year or try before then?

I have my own company now. My drivers make more money then any company I ever worked for. When you asked what you should do it depends on the company. Companies with HR departments have hoops you have to jump through. I would prefer you to have more experience as in getting that tearing up the equipment out of your system

2 companies in 5 months? Not knocking you at all, but I would try to wait till the full year, if possible.

You don't necessarily have to wait a year to get an upgrade these days. I only worked for my first conpcom 9 months before making a jump for more money. I got lucky though. I think if you go an entire year, you'll have more than "just a few options."

when I was a new driver I knew there other drivers that started at the same time as me and were able to get other jobs with companies within six months even though they had a one year requirement.

You already played the "jump around" card, I'd wait. But your options are still open.

I'd check with Marten or Wil-Trans. I believe they both require 6 months of experience, and I hear good things about both. I've got a friend with Marten who tried getting me in there (didn't have enough experience) and he loves it there, and I used to take Wil-Trans drivers to and from their terminal here in Springfield. Didn't ever hear a bad thing about it from them. I know they also have the whole TV package in the truck deal like some these days.

No just finish your contract thats really what matters most, then get outta there
