Run like hell and find another job. I was getting $40. an hour to drive a winch tractor and move oilfield equipment including on site shack up to 70 long.

    Wargames Thanks this.

I think walmart employees get that kind of pay. Plus you get one of dem blue vest with all the buttons on dem, go home every day, some benefits, Store Discounts. When I retire, I want me one of dem blue vest, and Ill even sit at the door and greet folks.

You make 10/hr driving? My friend drives Best Buy truck (No CDL required) and makes 17/hr (Ofc he installs stuff). Plus with my raise upcoming, I will be put at 10/hr for slinging trucks (unloading).

the thing with $10 per hour down south, it matches the economy down there. up here in New England, that would be nearly lower than minimum wage..and unlivable. we need at the very least $18 per hour "up here"

    Wargames and U4EA Thank this.

No $10 per hour doesn't match the economy down here. Things have went up the last few years(but it's not called inflation) and $10 per hour doesn't cut it anymore. The only problem is the wages have actually went down instead of up and if you can find a job making $10 per hour you had better jump on it. I have been looking and the local school system(when hiring janitors) pays better than these million dollar companies.

When you retire (and I know it's SOON), you must let me know which Walmart you will be greeting at. I'd love to stop by and test your knowledge on what department something is in. Then, when you stop me on the way out to check my receipt against what I have in my basket, I'll loudly fuss about accusing me of shoplifting.

    Good times!
