    Sorry, no unions for the custodians, no pay raises either you've heard it before the school doesn't have any money left. The only thing is the benefits and a little retirement. Not all the school systems pay that much, some of them only pay a little over minimum wage. I would like to get on at this school but they aren't hiring and when they do you have to start as a sub for $8 per hour and no benefits.

    well "up here" custodians get the full benefits/retirement as they are in the teachers union..too bad it's not the same where you are.

    Yea, I know it. I know about a job paying $500 a week with no benefits and people are jumping at it. They are not that many quality jobs "Down here". I have been looking for sometime and finally got on with a flatbed company. I just hope they are what they say.
