Shoulder Tragedy TX. Different but the same.

    Also, count the number of burn spots on the shoulders without skid marks. Not all are shoulder Tragedies, all too many are.

    Is there a SPECIFIC reason that you seem to have such a hard-on for people parking on the shoulder? They irritate me as well, but I am not posting every single news story I can find about someone that parked on the shoulder getting hit. Also, the ones doing this are not likely to be reading this board in the first place.

    You are correct. We do have such a law, and TxDOT puts up reminders about it on the electronic signs fairly often. It covers police/fire/EMS, TxDOT, and tow trucks for sure.

    I assume it also covers non-TxDOT construction vehicles and power line crews as well - basically, any vehicle with flashing lights over and above the factory-installed hazard flashers.
