Shout Out to TMC

Ya years ago l loaded out of Worthington Steel in Delta Ohio a lot. I swear that was their training facility. I'm behind one of the them. He gets 6 pup coils. I go up and help him so he can get out of my way. On my left is one of his brothers. No sign of him helping his coworker out lol. So we're chaining his load and l mention the fact that 3 chains per 8,000 lb coil is a little excessive. He was a good guy and says its company policy. He then says that he would have moved ahead but he was concerned the other tmc who didnt lift a finger to help him would report him if he moved ahead or left with less than 3 chains per coil. I just shook my head and did an eye roll. Wouldn't be surprised if he got reported for me helping him.

If you have a customer that normally pays $2000 to ship a load 700 miles, they'll come in and promises 100 deliveries each month on that run for $1400.

Owner Operator will be looking for a new customer

 

They have their share of slobs.... if you ever get to an Illinois truck stop you might see a few....truck is shiny, driver, not so much.

 

I remember when TMC used to run 70 mph

 

Many states limit me to 55. Its not so bad. All the traffic goes around you so it's almost like taking a leisurely stroll in the park. In those circumstances i just stick to the right lane and enjoy the ride

 

True....My company dispatches our appointments at 47mph.... so there is no rush. We are not pushed to run miles...

 

At least TMC is still faster than May or Raider Express

 

They have a terminal here in Indy. Honestly not much respect for their driving habits on the local interstates. That's why I call them
