Very disgusting. I carry my bag in with clothes, shower shoes, soap and anything else I need.HotH2o Thanks this. -
I carry everything in a Blackhawk bug bag. Inside of the bag I carry all my supplies in separate zip lock bags except my flip flops which I blow dry after use.

I would pass on the green soap at pilot/flying J, who knows what that crap is. I carry a little purell bottle refilled with real soap. Watch out for the towels at the Loves or Pilot/ Flying J, they smell like they were used to scrub the toilets and re folded for next driver.

Here's a concept, whatever you would use at home when showering, put in a small bag and take it with you. When you get back home restock the kit. Sheesh, some of these questions and concerns are quite funny.
Six years ago a few of my buddies and I left South Florida on our bikes and took a 45 day trip to Alaska, there's only so much you can pack on a bike, I made sure I had wipes and my tooth brush, the rest was gotten along the way. In a truck you have a little more room to carry whatever you might need for hygiene. I wonder why we never have a woman on here asking the same question? I'm quite sure she knows what to carry.7.3 cowboy and NavigatorWife Thank this. -
Did you shower before you became a trucker? If the answer is yes then I'd pack the same things you used before trucking. Could work!

I was just wondering what folks packed because I know public showers often need a gallon of Clorox and full hazmat gear

Most important part of my bag? Flip Flops! I refuse to stand on some strange tile shower floor wondering if the person before me pissed, jerked off, or took a deuce, then washed it down the drain. Sorry, but as much as we need the showers, after 33 years of this, I have my doubts about the shower attendants.
