Too bad they don't make condoms big enough to go over the 'boots'. Just trying to walk across the truckstop parking lot is like trying to cross a hazardous waste dump !!!:biggrin_2554::biggrin_25512:

The PeeLot is a good point, however.

You'll probably catch something far worse by simply walking through a truck stop parking lot, then using your hands to remove your shoes (and not washing your hands immediately afterwards) - than you will by not using shower shoes in a truck stop shower (assuming a well maintained facility).

The point is, we are exposed to risks with every step we make.
Every shift we make, and every decision we make, exposes us to some kind of risk.

If we fear everything, what is the point of even living?

Personally, I don't buy into it.
    I don't wear shower shoes.
I don't wash my hands with every opportunity.
I never get a flu shot.
I only go to a doctor when I am about to die.
I don't worry about every little thing that MIGHT get me sick.

    And guess what.
I've had foot fungus once, probably due to my own fault.
I get sick, like a cold or flu, on average, once every 3 years. It lays me up for a couple days, or maybe a week.

But throughout my lifetime I have noticed that people that are obsessed with health issues are the most likely to be sick from something nearly all the time.

I carry my personal soap, toothbrush and toothpaste. Ear plugs to keep water out (medical) mouth wash, floss and flip flops. That is inside one bag that goes inzide bigger bag that had my shirt, pants, socks and boxers. On days I need it I bring my zhaving kit with razors, shaving cream, nail clips and the like, and power razor to trim hair or beard.

Not sure where you shower n need to worry about bending over n getting soap. Must be a man's club shower. Lol. I take total privae showers each n every day. No shower no working. Hell at home I shower before I go out and do yard work. When I am done I shower again.
