Good post. I often wondered how it was "getting around" with the max sleepers. Common sense would dictate it'd be a lot harder in tight spaces, and also the weight problems you've also kindly discussed. Thanks for an informative post my friend. :biggrin_25525:

Put water in a bowl, heat up the water and wash cloth in your microwave and you have your very own hot bath, mini-bath for sure, but it beats the alternatives (lack thereof) sometimes.

Here's a truck stop in Kansas I stayed at. I said some, not all. I've showered at some crappy places but I'd say every 3/5 shower I take at a truck stop they have nicer showers than some if the 3-4 star hotels I've stayed at. I'm not talking about the chain truck stops either, I'm talking about mom n pop places that I like to go.

This is a place I stop at frequently on the I-5 in Pollard Flat, CA. This trucker bath comes equipped with your own, well, you know...

Thinking the OP was talking about, and in turn asking about, the types of portable shower that TA etc used to sell a few years ago, not ICT sleepers etc. Seeing as most in here havent been driving that long, most wont remember them. Every TA had them on display, normally right where all the drivers would be waiting for a shower funny enough
No holes to drill etc, so why would the "company" care?
They have small clean and gray water tanks, a small heater for hot water and a pump. Again, IIRC.
They collapsed into a @2'x2" square when not in use I think.
It really isnt brain surgery on how to make them work etc, and I even bet they come with instructions! Shock horror....
I would consider one myself at times, and have the room in the Western Star, just never got around to it.
Give one a try OP, and let us know how it works.

Everyone should take a picture of the next shower they take and post it here. Then we can rank them.

I've actually been looking into these nationwide gyms and using those as showers/a place to work out in while on the road. Nice tanning too if you're into that...

I like Chinatown's thinking. Go to the asian massage place and get the shower there. Some places they are known as "steam and cream"
But I don't think my wife who travels with me most of the times would have any humor in that idea.

Little America, Wyoming has some of the best showers for truckers out there.

Good luck finding a national chain that will allow truck& trailer parking. Thankfully many T/As have gyms with basic equipment.
