    Rule #1 (or possibly #2)

NEVER LEAVE THE PAVEMENT IN A BIG TRUCK UNLESS YOU HAVE $750.00 TO GET BACK ON!!!

This rule is swiftly followed by:

    NEVER SWERVE!!!

Note: The word "swiftly" has nothing whatsoever to do with Swift so don't call me on it!:biggrin_25523:

I don't even bother helping idiots like this. I won't even go as far as letting him onto the freeway. I have no sympathy for stupid drivers.

    ^^^^^LOL

I remember the first time I made a mistake with my trainer. I took an exit to what I thought was a truck stop but was just a gas station. I drove past the gas station and was on a country back road. It was truck approved as it had truck weight limit signs (50 ton iirc). My trainer looked over at me and said "well you screwed up, what are you going to do now?". I said I'm gonna drive this road until I come to a spot I can turn around. This is obviously a road trucks drive on so something will appear. 8 miles later it did. He was impressed I didn't freak out. I quoted him a line from the movie dune, which he never saw, "fear is the mindkiller", don't panic, be calm, and think it out. I have missed my share of turns and there is always a way out even if it means backing up a ways. But never make it worse by doing something stupid like pictured above.
