Hi yall I just accepted a job with MLS and wanted to know if anyone has been a shuttle driver for them. I’ve only done regional work so I’m unsure what the day to day will be like with this job. I’m home every day and will be working out of Marysville, Ohio.

Most shuttle work is from dedicated stuff from a shipper who has a contract with your company to provide empties from a yard and take the
loaded ones to a yard .
( example - mvt has a contract with a johnson and johnson plant , they take the loaded ones from a drop yard to the plant , dock it or stage it . Both empties and loaded are staged at the drop yard) . Pertty easy stuff , might use a yard dog truck or a day cab . Lots of hooking , unhooking and keeping paperwork for trailers correct .
