Kidney infections are horrible out on the road. No one to care for you and rub your back, till the antibiotic starts clearing it up. Its awful. BTW you get them from not peeing enough, like holding it to the next rest area, and the rest area is closed.

I haven't had the flu in about 13 or 14 years.....BEFORE I was a trucker!!
I don't get any type of flu shot...I don't want the pharmaceutical companies to poison me if I don't need their poison.
Do I get a fever? Yeah....a time or 2. A cold? Who doesn't?
I will say this:
I am much more healthier in my truck than when I come home or spend time with family and friends. Why? I keep everything clean. I wash my hands....not just after I use the restroom. After I wash my hands, I usually open up doors and all with a paper towel.
A lot can be said by taking care of yourself and be mindful of what is going on around you.
I often see guys go from the crapper straight out of the bathroom without washing their hands. That is pretty dern nasty if you ask me....
Now I do get migraines about 3 times a year.........That is when I call who ever I need to call and say "This load is gonna have to wait". -
I feel for you. Migraines are probably one of the worst things. Right up there with diarrhea and no toilet! (or paper)

oh yeah, and a can of air-freshener also.........chompi Thanks this.
