Last year I was in MN and it was -25 degrees. I was sick for a few days I delivered the load, but got sick as soon as I was empty. Lasted a few days ;)

This may not work for you or anybody else for that matter, but when I feel a cold or potential flu coming on, I will eat some real mexican food, and soak it with the hottest hot salsa they have. I am talking about the stuff that has you sweating while you are trying to eat. It seems to knock it before it gets bad, for me anyway.

I tell you of a little place in the range of San Antone, a tiny establishment with a grill. I show up at 2 am and asked the cook to put together something that will do me a thousand miles. He assembled and fixed a hybrid mexican american breakfast that was quite one to remember. Yes there was some sweat to pay for it but once it settled in, thats two days running. I was dealing with three trailers that week and needed to fuel up.

That was a very long time ago but there is that.

In a pharmacy over the counter there is a medicine called Esomprazole Magnesium. Its a slow form of taking care of unnecessary acid in the stomach, it is no where near fast or instant, but once it settles for a while you might find it a useful OCCASIONAL method of regulating that acid production.

I have to defend subway at that location, they just don't give you food poisoning, they give you a multiday experience in hell.

We, me and four of the kids stopped there for lunch, we were driving the rv truck and didn't want to just get the normal health food from McDonald's so we pulled in, had the daughter get lunch and chewed down. well we got the wrong order because we didn't order food poisoning with our subs. It was one week of hell ... pure hell.

Had you perhaps read a thread on here about automated transmissions or global warming right beforehand?

Yeah I was feeling better Monday. I have a pretty good immune system, it was just down with me being exhausted. Woke up with no fever and ate a small breakfast, stayed down so I ate enough for 10 men and started my day.

See that's where you ####ed up. If you would have got the gold peak tea you would not only have gotten better but you would have gained muscle mass and been better in bed afterwards.
