Monkey, if you are gonna be down in Florida this weekend, I can weld it back together for you. I'm not the best at aluminum welding, but it will look a hell of a lot better till you can get it replaced at great Dane.

And you didn't take your winch bar to them?.....
Not the rail....The idiot running the forklift......dannythetrucker Thanks this. -
My wagon has been hit and gouged....
I just wish those idiots would just finish the job....I want a new one....
Preferably a Fontaine.... -
I was hauling a 8ft around and 41ft long cage thing and they did not have a crane just a front
End loader and it got away from him. It might have just rolled off if not for the notches cut into
the rings and that got hooked onto the rail.Attached Files:

A few weeks ago a customer put a giant gash in the deck of my brand new step. I called mercer and setup a appointment at a trailer dealer in louisville. I got the estimate, faxed it to mercer and the customer has cut a check and its on it's way. Really happy the way mercer handled the claim!
Working Class Patriot Thanks this. -
I see a driver mistake. Tractor not straight with trailer. Something falls off the front and it hits back wheels or forklift hits 'em.
Carry over habit from the van side of things! -
That's far from mistake and nowhere near the cause of the problem. Guy gets his trailer jacked up and you point out he's not parked straight? Get outta here. My rubrail got jacked up on my step deck. Probably because I sometimes like to pull into a parking spot instead of backing inLast edited: Mar 28, 2014
MJ1657, Suptrkr and passingthru69 Thank this. -
I'm not talking about the rubrail, Cluck. Just analyzing the photo. He was parked wrong for load/unload anytime is all I'm saying.
If you don't believe me just keep parking ####eyed for the forklift and you'll eventually see what I'm saying.
Rail was f**klift driver's fault for sure. Darn shame. Looked like a fairly new trailer
(unnecessary ^^ censorship!)Prom Night Dumpster Baby Thanks this. -
Maybe there is a drop off in front of the truck. A ditch maybe. Maybe a Porta John. I've got a few dealers I deliver to that I have to back in and unload while the truck is at a 90. I never knew I was so wrong.
passingthru69 and MJ1657 Thank this.
