From what I have seen the Sig 620s I run with are all bulk trucks we only do about 10-15% empty running.
The freight trucks same engine but lighter loads and run empty more offen are easy to get around.
So I would say its all about how they are run in the guys over here drive them like they stole them.
The 620s seem to have more than a C16 BUT after a few changes that might all change.

Never heard of a custom program, nor is it as simple as boost and fuel wires..
so far noone has developed a way to crack the ecu.. -
catwrench, whats the go with that resistor?
i was told that aparantly putting 2v onto the wastegate was like a boost wire for a cat.. dont know enough about them to play.. -
Can you pm me your email and i'll tell you how to do it?
-
signatures dont have marine version from which you can use the camshaft , maximal intermitent power is 680 hp used in JD forage harvesters
-
Yeah and thats industrial,it won't work.Oh well something will come up that works eventually. We'll keep workin at it.
-
they also have a very strange fuel sistem ,timing is controled by volume of fuel ,have very hot fuel return. at a 900-1000hp the tank will boil
-
I will argue with that.
My Star had almost twice the fuel capacity yet the tanks were hotter at 450hp with the cat, than the sig at 580..
im actually surprised how cool the tanks are on this vs the old rig -
The Aulstrailian trucks just have a 600 - 2050 rating. Nothing special going on there. We had a truck with a Sig ISX that was running 685 hp. Yes there was a calibration for that, but it did not meet emissions. We also have a 650hp calibration, but that only goes in luxery RVs mated with an allison transmission. I was once told that the highest hp that you could go without swapping parts out was 788hp, but certain items has to be over ridden such as oil temp and coolant temp. So it is not exactly a rating that you want to cruise down the road with.

Who has a calibration for 685hp?Cummins?788hp without swapping parts sounds excellent to me!How do I do it?
