Kabar said: ↑Once you sign it it is a legal document. When you sign it you are saying that EVERY THING on it is true and accurate. DO NOT SIGN IT TILL THE END OF THE DAY!!! Until then it is just a piece of paper and you can make correction to it. You can even tear it out and start over again. Once you sign it you are stuck with what ever it says. Note that it does not say when you have to sign it. Just that you do.
§395.8 Drivers record of duty status(f)(7) Signature/certification. The driver shall certify to the correctness of all entries by signing the form containing the drivers duty status record with his/her legal name or name of record. The drivers signature certifies that all entries required by this section made by the driver are true and correctClick to expand...
The drivers signature certifies that all entries required by this section made by the driver are true and correct
All entries...one digit or the whole page complete for the day...ALL ENTRIES ARE TRUE AND CORRECT!
This is not a legal contract, a mortgage, or a loan application...it is a daily log...ALL ENTRIES ARE TRUE AND CORRECT!
What on earth makes this so confusing to every driver out on the highways?

His comprehension of the written statutes is limited and deeply flawed but his knowledge is to exstensive to accept that fact.
Dieselbear is apparently just an uneducated rube with no working knowledge of DOT statutes!

I have tried it before where during having my log checked it not be signed and said this they just said sign it,so I thought i better..Click to expand...
How do you know if it's true and correct? Simple log it as you do it, and do it legal!
