simple formula for axel weight

    but I figured I'd pick on him a bit.

    Along these lines, tho.
    I recall the first (and only) tractor I bought with a 4th (drop) axle.
    One of my drivers asked what it was for and my smart mouth went into gear:
    "It's in case one of you guys get a flat out on the road. Just drop the axle and keep on going."
    Unfortunately, I think he believed me.

    ....um, I've done that once. I forgot the trailer I was pulling was a new one.

    Ha, no shortage of "veteran" steering wheel holders.
    What??? I suppose next your going to tell me dual tires aren't so you don't have to stop when a tire expldes? Lol
