Ok..So when and if i go with ant out the back how do i know correct length to be in phase like mark showed on his vid..
He used an amp on a radio with different jumper lengths to show the difference.. -
Got the paper one that came with it..Maybe ill have to go over it again now that i understand a letter or two more..

You can take one of his cables and divide by 2 and then multiply by 3 to come up with a length for 75 ohm cable assuming the velocity of propagation is the same for the 75 ohm cable which won't be the case if the cable is manufactured by someone else.

Learn how to make a quarter wave stub then multiply the length by 3.

Doesn't have to be a super radio. The antenna is the most important part of the system and some trucks need a better antenna than others do (e.g. Cascadias).rabbiporkchop Thanks this.
