What's the name for those intermodal trailers with the built in single axle that is hauled raised in front? Seems they are for dropping off without port equipment. I'll see one maybe once a Month

I think you’re talking about the portable tanks. They set flat on the ground but have an axle all the way at the rear. They are never moved loaded. Frac tank, portable storage tank that needs a winch on the tractor to lift it onto the tractor.
