I know, I appreciate it. So do other new drivers figuring this stuff out.

I do watch the time zones. My GPS can display, remaining driving time, arrival time, yard arrival time and just the local clock. It's good information to have.

    Thanks,
    Mikeeee

    Figure your "miles" at 50mph.
This allows for slowdowns, construction, pee breaks, and generally stupid traffic.

328 miles will be about 6.5 hours.

415 miles will be about 8.25 hours.

I'd take the 10 hour at the loading site.

Try to unload EARLY at receiver BEFORE i went to the TS.
(YOU need to call your receiver and ASK them if you can get in early. don't rely on your travel agent)

415 miles is a ONE DAY trip, not a 2 day run.

You are getting boned by your planner and will go broke "bunny hopping" on those crap miles.

    Meltom Thanks this.

It is my fourth load since upgrading. Do you think I should quit already?

    Hehehe

    Mikeeee

I expect to run harder in the near future.

    No.
I don't think you should quit.

I think you need to complain a bit about the short miles and long delivery dates.

And I think whatever company you are with should treat you better than that.

The trip prior, they did load me in about a half hour.

Of course that was not without its problems.

I got out from under tthe empty i brought in. They put someone else's load on it. A load that was leaving an hour after my time.

And of.course. they did not.have another empty! Luckily another driver came in before too long.
