Single Final Dual Final

My Anytone AT-6666 has four finals.
Personally I'd rather have a single Motorola mrf 477 than 4 mosfets.

 

Some transistors offer more gaIn than others. it costs less money to use 4 ten cent mosfets at 20 watts each to make an 80 watt radio as opposed to a Single $55 2sc2879 to make the same radio.

 

Single, duel, triple, etc. ...

It is all a sales gimmick.

 

that's kind of like saying there's no difference between a V12 and a 4 cylinder engine

 

Rabbi as I said it is a sales gimmick.

I can put together a final amp with one device and one with 6 devices, both will do the same thing, no difference between them.

Well according to Ridgeline it's no better than a Cobra 29 with a single 2sc1969 transistor
