Mr.Haney will hook you up. We had an '03 MBN in a W900L, had zero issues right up until we sold it last year at ~750k miles. Everything was original (including the water pump/turbo). No idea what the mileage was, only checked it a few times and it was usually around 5.5 pulling a conestoga doing stop and go lumber deliveries.
If it hasn't been done already you need to dump the factory converter(s) and put a free flowing muffler(s) on.

Thanks, Raf. -
3.70 rears aren't gonna keep your rpms low enough at 70mph to get good fuel mileage IMO

Hey raf147, what size wheels/tires? Ours was on full size 24.5's. If you've got small wheels the gears may hurt you.Last edited: Feb 21, 2011

If they're just the standard 51" long 10" size that's been around forever I would just go to any truck dealer or parts shop and buy the cheapest ones they have. I know the local KW dealer has them on sale for less than $50 sometimes. Here are 2 links to what I'm talking about.

Since your tires are LP22.5's that gearing may kill you at 70. -
the bridge engines have internal egr systems

Mr. Honey recommend Donaldson off road mufflers, I might just get them but I would like to know if PDI's Performance mufflers are any better? My ECM will be flashed to 7NZ soon, turbo will stay for now and after some time I'll upgrade to a better one. My question is: which setup would be better with new flash. Does anyone has PDI mufflers that could tell me something about them?

edit: I forgot to ask Mr. Honey about them, He's busy man, don't want to call every 5 min. Thanks in advance. -
