    Thanks for the great report on your Sirio antenna! They are the top of the heap in many ways.

    It is a good recommendation to reinforce the roof of today's vehicles when drilling a hole into such thin sheet metal. I can see that the leverage of an 80-inch antenna in a 70 mph wind might be enough to flex the base enough where the hole is cut to eventually cause metal fatigue and potentially even leaks.

    One advantage of a magnet mount is that it's probably large enough to compensate for the thin metal.

    I own a SR A10 Awesome Antenna a lot heavier than a wilson 1000 though very sturdy at highway speeds doesn’t move
