    Exact same thing happened to mine, bad antenna connector solder joints to pc board. Pioneer Sirius radio. Appears to be a factory flaw.

    Quick question;

    I have a 2007 Volvo VN780, I am trying to find WHERE I run the wire for my XM Snap antenna from the sleeper roof into the cab area? Is their a place on the door I fish the antenna wire through or firewall?

    Any help would be great I am searching all the electronics forum for an answer and would prefer to install it myself than to pay someone to run it, cuz thats how I roll.....cheap:yes2557:

    Thanks all....

    If you get in a pinch, I just lay it on the dash, or if your CB is sitting on the dash as well, put the magnet base of the antenna on the CB The only problems I've had is when I head east, sometimes it will cut in and out...

    Has for the original post, you have a broken wire, in the cable itself, I've had a satellite since they came out, and its always the cable fortunately its a cheap fix
