Hard to tell till the merger settles down.
Right now it really boils down to what sports you might like.
XM has college foot ball, NHL, MLB
Sirius has NASCAR, NFL, NBA
I've had XM from the start & won't change I don't think.
As of today Opie & Anthony are on both XM202 & Sirius 197.

The merger is suppose to happen by the end of september...I guess not...
I have a paid in full life time membership with Sirius, so I hope I dont get screwed...I hear it may end up being like cable and satellite TV with channel packages??? -
Anyone using the Sirius Traffic option? If so, how do you like it and what brand GPS do you use?

well even though sirius has bad cust service i still renewed, from what i have heard programs are not going to change much. howie and road dod are a must have and apparently only goin to be available on the sirius side even after the merger!
Thanks all! -
Sirus is best for NFL and talk radio. However, for NHL, NBA, and MLB XM has the rights. Also, XM's music is much better, especially for "todays" music. I have both because I am a sports nut. Since the two have merged, I would guess all programming will be one one unit eventually. Already you can add NFL and Talk Radio of Sirus to XM, so I would say get XM and add the sports and talk of Sirus to your subscription.

I've decided to get Sirius and have been happy so far. I like that Sirius offers NPR.
