I still have and use my original Delfi Skyfi that I got when I signed up for XM in the spring of 2002. I always move it from whatever vehicle to house....wouldn't have it any other way. As an aside, XM was to go on air 09/12/2001.....I'm sure you know why they delayed that start.

I just switched trucks and the service. They gave me 3 months free (I guess the guy who had the truck before me didn't use it). It only took about 15 mins. on the phone. I also pay by the year, you seem to have more leverage that way and they always wave the activation fee.

 

Xm. Helps keep sound (different) in truck so your not quiet as a church mouse. You have a wide range of entertainment.

I just hate switching FM channels every 40-60 miles.

 

I bought it when I first came out. They had a deal running if you pay $450 upfront then you have it for life with no other payment ever again. It's a nice comfort to have in the truck
