    That 40 inch bracket is your whole problem. When you elevate your feedpoint 40 inches from your counterpoise what happens to your performance is precisely what you have been experiencing.
    You need to lower your feedpoint closer to the body of the truck or you need to create a counterpoise up on top of your 40 inch extension at your feedpoint.
    Personally I just drop the feed point down to your door mirror bracket and see how it works.
    Would be much better with a longer shaft on the bottom of that antenna though.

    Well mark said a 17" and i tried my 18 but it seemed no better but he also wanted it angled like 45 deg..

    Not to 45 deg...20ish..Its all the mount allowed..the mount only allows uprite or about a 20 deg lean..kinda like this pic.. pca501-650x651.jpg

    Well im not sure how long im home so i dont wanna rip out my 955 and bracket till i have somethin set up in da hemi 1st..Just got home early this more..Still in my jammies yet..Xmas shoppin to do as well..
