To add to what d o g said, sometimes we just have to learn to do things a different way.
While we'll have a fair number of things on this site that are like the old site, I am sure there will be
many new and different things to learn with the new site.

tucker, truckon, AfterShock and 3 others Thank this.

I'm on a note 3 and hardly ever turn it landscape is there any way you might be willing to move the back to top link in a spot we can get to from portrait?
It works great in landscape on my tablet and PC but I use the phone 90% of the time.

I'm fully aware things are different ... but if I may ... it would help considerably if you leaders would explain the "differences" when asked like "d o g" attempted to do.

= Don't get me wrong, this is one of the fairest sites moderation-wise I've ever been on (and I generally have 6-8 sites up at any given time and am a member of over 100 sites) and I appreciate your and everybody else's in the powers-that-be efforts but vague answers or completely ignoring questions isn't something one would expect with the overall quality here.

No one has ignored any of your questions.
With all the posts about the site we can't always keep up with every question posted. It seems like you are taking it personal....PLEASE don't cause it's nothing against you. We also have a whole site to moderate just like before so we try to handle that stuff and field some questions in here.

Ok, I've added it to my list of items to discuss with the designers... hopefully it's something we can accommodate.

As previously discussed, we're not supporting Tapatalk anymore. Too many issues with their software and their shady tactics.

    truckon Thanks this.

On the old forum software, if you edited the title right away -- not sure if it was before anyone saw it or within 10 minutes or what -- but you could change the title as it appeared pretty much everywhere.

If you edited the title after too much time, it would only change how the title on the initial post after you'd already opened the thread. The old title would still be visible when browsing the forum section.

Maybe I'm just too big of a knucklehead to find it lol but I can't find the password for the politics forum. It used to be listed with all of the political threads but now I don't see it.

I'm sure that you're correct. In fact,
    I'm positive you are.
But y'all already knew that, ....... huh?
I mean correct about learnin' to do new and different things (in) a different way with this new site.

I gotta tell y'all, ---- from the very first time I tried this new site on for size to see how it fits me, the way it feels and how it reflects my image, I realized that my expectations were totally exceeded. When a few of my friends caught a glimpse of me, their comment, in unison, summed up their thoughts with only three words, "Y'all look marvelous". I'd be foolish to disagree with that assessment.

Keepin' uppermost in mind the difficulty involved tryin' to improve upon perfection, and after careful review, ...... by golly!, ....... it appears that y'all pulled it off. Perfection perfected, perfectly.
And, ....... as an added bonus, it'll only get better.

    What's not to like?

    :confused4:  :banghead: :-?

    Quick question?
    What if you are?
You want we should point it out to you, .... or just keep mum? The silence can be deafening, especially when one only hears what one wants to hear, and disregards the rest.
How do you manage to find time to grace us'all at TTR with your presence?
    Uhhhhh ----
Let me get back to you with my reply to that later. Right now, there's sumpthin' else I wanna do instead.

I think I can sum-up what kind of job y'all've done to the site here, ..... with one word. I just gotta decide which one of the words I have in mind to use, -------
    Outstanding?
    Magnanimous?
    Stupendous?
    Magnificent?
    Superb?

However, for me to describe the amount and degree of my gratitude for all that y'all've done to improve an already totally enjoyable experience that comes with participating in this environment that y'all've masterfully created, one word could not possibly be expected to render a sufficient conveyance.

    BRAVO!! :biggrin_25514:

Big Don, Hammer166 and Mastertech Thank this.
