OH, I did follow the instructions, why are you accusing me of not doing so? That's not very nice.

I'm also a forum owner, and I'm also moderator on some forums, you did not have to give me instructions, I knew exactly what to do, and I did it, and it still is not working properly.

    Thank you,
    Jerryu

I stayed away a few days on purpose, letting email notifications collect in my trucker folder, 14 of them, and 4 times I had to log in. Below is exactly what took place.

Just now I clicked on an email notification, had to log in.

Them I clicked on a 2nd email notification, had to log in again.

Them I clicked on the 3rd one, did not have to log in, very surprised.

Them I clicked on the 4th one, surprised again, did not have to log in.

Them I clicked on the 5th one, surprised again, did not have to log in.

Them I clicked on the 6th one, surprised, did not have to log in.

Them I clicked on the 7th one, had to log in, was not surprised.

Them I clicked on the 8th one, had to log in.

Them clicked on the 10th one, did not have to log in.

Them clicked on the 11th one, did not have to log in.

Them clicked on the 12th one, did not have to log in.

Them clicked on the 13th one, did not have to log in.

Them clicked on the 14th one, did not have to log in.

Just in case you want to know, I have Windows 7 Professional, and I did follow the instructions, yet its still doing it.

    Thanks,
    Jerry

If the cookie misconfiguration was on the server's side, everyone would be having the issue you're describing. Since you're only one of two people reporting this issue, I'm nearly certain this is on your end of things. My offer of troubleshooting assistance is still open, but I'm going to need you to do two things:
    1. Lose the attitude
    2. Answer my previous question: what internet browser are you using? (firefox, internet explorer, chrome, etc)
Between what you've told me in this post and the previous one, there's plenty of reason to believe that you might not be familiar with how to clear your browser's cache and cookies, so the first order of business is figuring out what browser you're using so we can make sure it gets done right.

Still testing, but I think we'll have the old albums imported in a week. You might have to update the links to the images, but they will be available.

Hi Mark, what browser are you using? I assume you've cleared cache and cookies?

And by 'minimizing,' you mean you never close out the tab you use to browse thetruckersreport.com?

How do you get to the site normally? If you use a bookmark, what's the url you use? Have you updated it since we updated the site?

No I have not updated the bookmark. I have a shortcut in my task bar.

Yes I clean cache and cookies twice weekly with cc cleaner, manually, and IO BIt advanced system care.

    I use IE 11.

I leave the tab open all day, but close it at night.

@Mark Kling I just made a tweak that may have solved the log-in problem, with the side-effect of making it impossible to log out. Let me know how that works for you.

Mark Kling and bullhaulerswife Thank this.
