Site Upgraded - REPORT BUGS HERE

I have noticed that when someone would give you a thank you it would notify you now it does not is there a way to change this?

 

I did that and it was checked. I did uncheck it and check it again and then saved changes so maybe that will work.
I just happened to notice that it did not have an alert like the old site that would inform you of a thanks on your posts. I just happened to be looking around and noticed that I had a few thanks that I did not realize.
Maybe we got this gremlin worked out.

 

It is working now just different from what I was used to.

I seem to notice that Posts from "Trucker Rants" never make it to the "New Posts (all Forums)" link. Maybe it is designed that way?

Or there is always the strong possibility I am wrong and they are showing up.

It just seems like New Posts from other Forums show up quickly in "New Posts" link, and new posts from "Trucker Rants" Forum never make it to "New Posts" link.

Edit: Like this post here. It immediately went to #1 on "New Posts" link. Trucker Rants forum? Never.

 

It's a "social thread". Posts in Rants, religion, politics, etc aren't public (need to be a member) so they don't update there.

 

Ok thanks Joseph. I wish they would. I understand religion and politics not making it. But there is some pretty good stuff that is trucker oriented in "Trucker Rants".

 

I think it's because of the types of discussions that can go on in Rants. I am probably mistaken, the mods know a hell of a lot more than I on this (as they should) but that's probably it.
