But why are they closing. Did they give any reason for this decision?

Did SML give any comments on their decision to close. Financial problems? No freight? Refused to be bought out?

Sitton motor line was the best company i worked for from: 04/2007 to 01/2008 family leave problems.. As of 2date..sitton had closed down,. Mr. Dick sitton could no longer stay aloft..boy 'ol boy,. I give a left nut to come back to sitton or the likes..

I worked for Sitton and was with them almost up to the end. They let me go in August and I havent worked for anyone since.

I can tell you one thing, I miss them as if they were family. They treated me good and paid me well even though they were closing up shop in the process.

I can only hope that J.B. Hunt (which is my next one) Intermodal can give me such respect and treat me as if I did matter the same way Sitton did.

If Mr. Sitton does open up another company somehow someway, I want to be on that list for people that works for him.

Hope the best for Richard Sitton and his family, he was a blessing in the industry that seems to be full of crooks!

I drove for them for several years til they went out. I have not been able to find a place I like as well or make the money I did there. I sure miss it.
