If this is the thanks I get for helping people on this forum, then it's not even worth posting here. For starters, that link and the road signs are not related to eachother in the context you are portraying them to be. I posted that as a tool for you to use in your trip planning. It's your fault if you took that as a insult to your intelligence, because it wasn't.

You and other members on this forum need to learn a thing called constructive criticism. My intent was not to bash your intelligence, and I'm tired of arguing with people that have a reading comprehension level less than a 1st grader.

No Bat, I think Celtic is just a bit sensitive. I did not read it as insulting, but as a helpful advice. Problem is some people cannot take advice and see it as only criticism. For others like me, I bookmarked the site for when I do get on the road.

I guess I am a bit sensitive being told "if you actually read the signs as you pass them". Wonder how you would have reacted if I said that to you? I can take the criticism when it's a bit less cutting.. I can take the advice when I ask for it.. My original post was a tongue in cheek post.. I guess I really need to redefine "serious".

I have a Yaesu FT1500 I purchased at a Ham Meet several years ago. Right now I have a Ham Stick on a magnet mount. I think I will be able to mount it on the mirrors with a mirror mount like the CB's use.

    Glad you're liking the job!

I only turn the CB on when I want entertainment or info. Otherwise, the radio/CD/ipod is playing.

    Be safe out there!~
