DON'T WORK FOR KAG IN CHARLOTTE!!! THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! I have been pulling gas for 11 years and when I wanted to move down south charlotte was the only one that was hiring and I was lied to about pay, shift time and a whole alot of other things! KAG up north is pretty good that I heard.:biggrin_25510:

As today I wouldnt recommend to apply for KAG WEST.We are going thru a bad time,we just got a big pay cut ($1.90 per hour) and lost safety bonus there may be another pay cut as the company keeps buying small tanker companies, already bought some in Washinton state,DeWitt petroleum is now part of KAG. if you want you can check kagdrivers(dot)com for more information. Lets keep the tanker industry the way it should be not working for pennies! Good luck to all,and Keep on trucking!

Here on SoCal before KAG bought Beneto Tank Lines it used to be one the best companies to work for, maybe Beneto was not a popular person or easy to deal with, but we all worked with pride.
Now Kag is taking over in most parts of the country taking the industry to a lower level,it's sad for most of us who worked hard for years have to work extra days to make ends meet.Maybe up North things look a little bit better because they have contract with their local Union group.
As today we are working to get the company under a union contract,if you work for KAG anywhere in this great country of US.
We CAN NOT let KAG do this to all of us hard working people. I know we can't plug websites here but search on the web for ours kagdrivers....(dot)..com and read what are we doing.
not to take any merit from fellow truck drivers, but I think WE FUEL TANK DRIVERS ARE THE BEST!
good luck to all drivers and have a safe return HOME,our families wait for us and AMERICA WILL STOP WITHOUT TRUCKS!

kagdriver, I work for advantage and here in the toledo area we are having the same #### happen. We have not taken a pay cut but they took everything else. We just had a safety meeting last week that only 8 people showed up to,we have about 100 out of our term. So they decided to give us our fuel cards back and the 6 day pay reinstated. They said that its very clear that everyone is pissed and that we would get a pay increase, but we'll see.
About a year ago we talk to our local teamsters but it didnt go any farther. canton sent someone out to smooth things over but I think the smoothing is wearing off, the majority is unhappy with mgmt.
It sounds like the teamsters are just waiting to this company.

Jim..I really hope you guys get the increase instead of a paycut like we did. KAG keeps buying more companies. Last meeting we were told that we are not taking another paycut "as today", but there's another rumor that the company will be sold to overseas investors, possibly from Asia. Chevron drivers were being laid off and it looks like Kag will absorb most of the work and drivers. Once hired, Chevron drivers will have to take a paycut of $13.00 dls per hour!. Evan's Dedicated will be up for sale and again looks like Kag will be the highest bidder. KAG wants to grow as much as possible and limit our chances of moving to another petroleum company, a small company that might be bought for KAG!

Search for our site kagdrivers (dot) com for more information.

kagdriver, alot of drivers here found your website and its become a topic in ohio. They told us we would get something by the end of april. Its already planned that if we dont then where not moving the trucks until then, it took 2 hours for the michigan drivers to get their money when they did that. we have 99% of all the work around here and are still hiring to get the work covered.
I dont think anyone is ready to vote on anything around here yet.
    good luck and stay safe.

Kag recently bought one of the common carriers here in the northwest Reinhard petroleum. They are new to the loading racks up here from what i here they want the monopoly on gas hauling. Just recently they have took over all the Chevron trucks and they will have KAG on the door. It sounds like the same thing is starting to happen up here as the rest of the country. Hate to have a gippo setting the bar as far as pay and benefits. We have a haul that we have been doing up here for years that KAG as come in and tried to underbid us on. My truck boss thinks that they will go as far as loosing money on run just to starve out some of the smaller carriers. The problem with organizing up here is if you dont haul it someone else will there is no unity among the drivers.
