Skid problems don't necessarily go away, even with the new traction control. If you have a chance to go to a school that offers it, then do it. It's a feather in your cap during hiring and will help you understand the dynamics of the the truck. Do it.

Most of the people in jacknife videos don't even counter steer, they just ride it out into the ditch. Just a simple countersteer at the begining would more than likely get them out of it.
That place that says it's outdated sounds like a steering wheel holder farm. -
hmm skid control, that's something I've learned a bit on with out a class, I find it best to stay as far away from hard braking or skids as possible, a wet surface, brakes and not enough distance bewteen you and what ever is front of you is one of few recipes for skids. you'll slide right in to first base. a class wouldn't hurt but I've found it best to steer clear.
