What's the Fl. Turnpike warning beacon? You weren't on 10 M were you?

You don't need a big radio to work skip.

Well there are two of us I know of that play on 28. Twister 24/7 is calling out of ND now from what it sounds like. he must be working the oil fields etc out west. Then myself. I have never heard anyone else being called out in ND on 28. I was home again all day. One of my daughters has the flu thing that is hitting the country hard so I choose to stay home and tend to her today. Her fever finally broke witht he medicine but still pretty whipped out. Anyway I have to work tomorrow. I will be on in the morning till early afternoon if conditions are still good. Hopefully be parked and on my way home by 2 to 2:30 ish.

I bought this small little amp that has an SSB switch on it. If I switch it on what happens or changes? The switch is currently in the AM position.

the turnpike broadcasts warnings for accidents and road closures on channel 19. didnt any of you pass through virginia on I81 last year when they were rebuilding the bridges on both lanes at MM45? didnt you hear the broadcast on the radio from VDOT?

that is for running the amp on sideband. you tunr in your channel or person that you want to talk with, then flip the SSB switch on the amp and away you go.

    mrbamcclain Thanks this.
