Wyoming is one state I dont worry about the scales. Most the back road scale folks are plesent and wont even screw with you. Not to mention its hard to be over axle there with 36k allowed. if you run 80k.
S M D Thanks this. -
me used to put "license check slow down & prepare to stop" signs on the interstate and setup at the exit. It is quite funny that people actually would think we would stop traffic on a interstate.
jammer910Z, peterbilt_2005 and ncmickey Thank this. -
No pre pass and you have to stop and check in at the Poe in Cheyenne . In order to make my log book work for the hours I was going to be driving checking in makes it that much difficult to work around the check in time.
My log book shows sleeper in wells but the dot computer shows I was checking in at Wyoming lmao -
Thaats is so funny and true, the owner "younger guy inherited it" and slept with the local DOT officers wife. Well every time we were seen we got stopped and inspected. With 10 yards on your truck we were overweight with no scale needed. At 9 yards we were usually over weight due to build up after being weighed. The owner paid a lot of money for her.....lolpeterbilt_2005 Thanks this.
