dear psanderson I want to apologize for living in Canada where our rules are often different then the U.S. We can't adjust brakes without a ticket, we are required to have an air brake endorsement which means we have basic understanding of the air brake system and Know how to check them of found out of adjustment we are supposed to have a qualified person adjust them. As for your minimum air pressure remarks what do you think I was talking about when I said pump two or three times than wait for the air to build up, don't know what you drive but when I pump my brakes the pressure drops. One more thing self adjusters are not manditory here. Thanks for all your usefull info.

Some of the new brakes are supposedly completely seal. Claiming that they need no grease becuz they dont leak n e grease. Which is crap i have had them one 2 trucks i have driven. They dont even come with a zerk fitting to grease. Thanks freightliner. N e how each time i brought them in for repair the mechanics laughed and said these were the dumbest invention ever. Then proceeded to drill holes and installed zerk fittings

I was told with the auto adjusters they adjust when you do your brake test. The applied pressure and hold test and the pump down test. Not true? These tests are done with air supplied obviously (yellow and red pushed in).
