Well, what may one expect with those people in the Monroe area. That was the home of Geo. Armstrong Custer & they believe he was a hero. Then what happened after he committed suicide?????....his widow moved out of state. That, and the fact that they cheer for the Maize & Blue..........uch!
Of course, I went to school in Iowa City. I can remember when the NCAA passed a rule that stated you couldn't go to the Rose Bowl more than 3-years in a row. In the Big-10 it depended on where the game was played as to who went to the Rose Bowl; Ann Arbor, or Iowa City. In the Pac-10 it was almost always USC, or UCLA. Back then sports wasn't the moneymaker it is now & going to the Bowl games almost bankrupt the Big-10 schools hence the NCAA ruling.
I wrestled under Dan Gable when I was there. -
ehhhhhhhhhhhh

....his widow moved out of state.
Yeah, but I think she moved back to slohio, where we wish they all would stay. By the way, anything south of Bay City is nothing but northern slohio anymore.

You dont need to apologize because you missed that he was from Canada, as I know for a fact that unless you have the 1 Classification with The "A" Endorsement you cannot operate anything larger then a straight truck WITH AIR BRAKES.
Now with that in mind anyone that actually has a CDL and drives a vehicle that has AIR Brakes has to have that Endorsement.
So for him to come on here and make it seem like he has gone above and beyond to be allowed to adjust his brakes is a LOAD of a different Kind!
The Class 1 licensing will allow you to run a Tractor/Trailer unit as long as it does not have Air Brakes, and we all know most new tractor trailer units dont have Air Brakes....
There are 2 exceptions to that rule, one is for those with Learners Permit and with someone with their "A" Endorsement in the Truck, and the other is for "FARM VEHICLES"....
They may package the classifications differently in Canada, but if you are driving one you have to have the qualifications to do so which includes your "A" Endorsement!psanderson Thanks this. -
Yeah, it is slightly different in Alberta. Here, the Air Endorsement ("Q") is integral with the Class 1, i.e., you cannot have a Class 1 without air brakes. This sometimes proves interesting with less-informed authorities as the back of the license shows the "Q - Air Brakes" requirement, but the front of the license does not show it under Endorsements as it would with any other license class.

I think it's safe to say that rules are different in different parts of the world my license is a Nova Scotia class 1 with a condition 03 ( air brake). Anywho maybe we should all take a look at the original post, it was a simple question that I believe was answered so lets all try to get along no matter what endorsements are on the back of our licences we are still all supposed to be professionaldrivers.
